I went into this shop today The manager was very rudecto his staff I front of customers not good to see
Wanted to buy OS maps. It took over 10 minutes, checking every isle, to find them. No staff visable to ask. All isles are very tall shelves. Very few notices to help people find things. Once I did track them down, there were a good selection of local area.
Woefully understaffed. Self service checkouts not working and broadcasting electronic messages constantly. Witnessed several customers just leaving their goods and walking out. Management needs to get this sorted out. Store holds a great range of stock and is great to browse but customer service lets this branch down.
Upstairs is closed during lockdown. Unfortunately that was the only reason to visit WHSmith in Weymouth as everything else can easily be got elsewhere in town. Don't know why they stay open if the upstairs is shut. Magazines, books and gift card are hardly essential shopping, infact, I dont think anything in WHSmith is essential shopping!
Good for day to day items like cards and wrapping paper. Not so good for rarer items. Was looking for a pair of compasses with a fine adjustment wheel in the middle.y son needed one for school. Smith's nothing suitable.
A great sized store over 2 levels that sell a good range of magazines & newspapers, soft & hardback novels, maps & local area information, stationary, flash drives, DVD's plus office supplies, greeting cards plus much more, sadly I didn't find the staff that friendly nor helpful when I asked a simple question.
A well situated shop in the centre of town. Choice of DVDs and CDs tends to be restricted to the more popular TV programmes and films and top 20 music. Shop always clean and tidy with sufficient helpful staff.
I like this store. So many great books and supplies to browse. They're a bit overpriced though. And recently i have been trying to access your website but there's always an error so i think you need to fix that,because your website is the only one i can't access . FIX ASAP!
Big shop , good selection of books
Shop was empty of staff upstairs, it was like Mari'cellest. When I mentioned this to a member of staff that I eventually found, they did not seem interested. Obviously do not need my custom. SHOP LIFTERS PARADISE
