Queued for ages for the post office to get some Euros, while the poor young girl behind the counter struggled to service both post office and self service tills. With other customers clearly losing their tempers and a growing queue; she was constantly ringing for help with no response. As a result she had to put my Euros back in the till as she couldn't figure out how to get the computer to take my personal details why we even need to give them to buy currency I don't know!. Poor management choice, leaving a clearly junior staff member alone on the shop floor, especially during a busy period. And, poor training on the systems they need to do their job. Appreciate that the counters have now become mainly self-service which works for the majority of sales, but theres enough reason to have at least 2 staff available for customers' needs...it's just evidence of the cut-backs required to keep these relics of high-street age alive.
Can always get what I need and there's friendly & helpful staff. I do however find the store quite outdated and the layout isn't the best. But over all a nice store
Great sized store, with plenty of choice. Usually my WH Smith of choice.
It would appear that the stock is becoming limited. Went to buy Sheaffer ink refills, only to be told they no longer stock them?
Really helpful staff and no problem too big to help solve - helped me order wasgij jigsaws & even called me once they had arrived - fantastic customer service
Great card selection, back to school promotions and everything stationary and books. Great creative stuff to buy too.
Short on staff but when I did find one they were very friendly and helpful.
It is what it is clean tidy helpful staff what more can I say
