Lovely tea shop. I have noticed that there is less staff than usual despite the size of the shop. However, the staff that I see always seem happy to help and ensure the best experience they can. My current obsession is with their hot chocolates, specifically their salted caramel one. So when I can I travel from down from the capital to get it.

This shop was absolutely lovely! Clean, well-stocked, lots of free samples that were all fresh and hot- and very tasty! A huge shout-out in particular to the staff member who answered all our aeropress questions- I'm afraid I didn't catch her name, but she was tall with a long brown braid. She was very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable and offered really amazing customer service. Thank you so much!

This is not a restaurant. It is a good upmarket, not too inexpensive cafe in a downmarket residential area, and it really is tiny. There are 4 small tables indoors and if all were occupied you would not be able to move. We planned a special lunch here based on the Trip Advisor recommendations and we designed our day around it. That was a mistake. To be fair, the young couple running it are friendly, enthusiastic and very nice. The atmosphere is good. I am told the food is authentic Sicilian and there is flair and imagination in the presentation. Our choices seemed bland and ordinary; perhaps we were unlucky in our choices. I do not want to undermine anyone who is trying hard with some success but there is no way this can be the No 1 restaurant in Brighton; that is complete nonsense. I would like to have this cafe at the end of my street for regular coffee and light lunch breaks, especially outside on sunny days, but please do not pretend it is a restaurant or you will mislead people, as we were misled.

Walked 4 miles yes, could have taken the bus to buy the, in my opinion, best hot chocolate. On website it was on offer but not so in store so felt gutted! Happy to pay full price for the 70% cocoa.

Doorman insisted on the door being open despite the fact that everyone sat near the door were wearing their jackets. Very nice drink but left after one because too cold.

Lovely food though the 'specials' can seem quite pricey.  Very busy at weekends and I feel the tables are crammed a little too close together, but it's better in the week when not quite so busy.

Lovely place to go for a teas and coffees  ,lovely staff atlest 80%off them but is more when enough

Absolutely wonderful place with beautiful bespoke merchandise highly recommended with very helpful and knowledgeable staff who are expert in all beverages. I especially like the free hot chocolate  welldone folks

I visited the shop today, after trying the lychee and mango instant tea at my friends house, I was unsure of what else I wanted to purchase and was helped by a ver lovely staff member called Eloise, she let me try tasters and guided me through all the options!!! 100% recommend Whittards lovely  staff and loads of options to choose from.

I’ve visited this place two days ago, it is a lovely place.They have amazing teas coffees and hot chocolates. I wasnt sure what to buy so i tried some of the teas and there was a staff named Sara, she was really helpful and friendly. She helped me to choose the tea and she was very nice. I recommend Piccadily Blend and peanut butter hot chocolate. Also there was a sale while I was there :
