Small, cosy and very interesting. Absolutely full of Dickens-belia a made up word! Fascinating to look around the walls. Refreshments were lovely and quite reasonably priced. Toilet is accessable via steep, narrow stairs which may be challenging for some. Cash only payment.
Fantastic scones and cakes! Would highly recommend really friendly staff.
A lovely place! THE best place in Eastbourne!
Dickens Tea Cottage is a wonderful experience. The walls are full of interesting items. Lovely staff, very helpful. The menu is full of delightful meals. I had the omelette with salad and chips. It was excellent and very tasty. Wonderful puds. Good old fashioned service at it's best. 10 out of ten guys for so many reasons.
Enjoy the food and the experience very much. It’s a very unique tearoom.
Excellent place! Very friendly staff! You could clearly see it is a family run business! Place is very cozy and full of history.
Cosy place with friendly staff. Had a very tasty jacket potato with cheese and an excellent pot of tea. Will definitely be returning.
Nice cosy tearoom.
Very good food, very friendly and welcoming, not hurried. Quirky and charming.About a million miles from chain restaurants and rightly so. Give it a try,you will be glad you did! Dickensian
