Charged me £24 for the phone call they made to the warranty company.. :s I went to this garage to sort out my newly bought BMW 318i ’s variable valve gear monitoring servo problem. I had a warranty for the car from a company called Auto Protect. After these guys opened the engine cover they found there was a problem with the cam chain cover which is not covered by the warranty. Therefore I decided to return the car back to the trader without fixing it. However when I asked them to put the car back to the state it was, the guy who answered the phone got grumpy with me since they are not getting the job and threatened me saying they are going to charge me storage if I don’t come and collect the car soon. When I went to collect the car, the young lad who was there was friendly and alright but realised that they have charged me £24 extra for the phone call they had made to the warranty company. Not cool.. :(
