The EMA Patient Transport team were at this amazing nursing home recently to transport a resident to another care home using EMA's care home transport service. The staff here were superb and brilliant throughout the transition. What a lovely place.

My dad, David Welch, was at Whitegates for 5 months. The care he received was second to none. The compassion from the cook to the cleaners, managers, secretaries, nurses and care staff was kind and caring. We could not fault them. They made all of our family welcome into the home alongside dad.nDad was not an easy resident, he wondered off and generally did his own thing, yet when dad passed away they all came into his room, put us at ease and paid their respects. Even at the end of dad’s life, great compassion was shown. My family and I have nothing but praise. Thank you Whitegates.

Mum moved to Whitegates from assisted living accommodation about a month ago and we cannot believe the positive changes we have seen in her. The staff are friendly and professional and clearly have a good understanding of Mum and the dementia she is living with. Since moving to Whitegates, she looks healthier, well cared for, and relaxed. We cannot thank the staff enough for everything they are doing to make her life more enjoyable and a little easier too.
