Lovely food and staff. We have visited every morning for breakfast and a fabulous evening meal. I would highly reccomend.
Had a lovely meal here it was well presented and tasted as good as it looked. Most likely eat here again during our stay in Kelso.
Was in the White Swan in Kelso last week…what a disappointment. Dirty,smelly no atmosphere,sticky carpets, tiles broken in the loos ….beer was not good …. Not surprised it’s closing down ….which is a shame because it has potential but it’s like no one is bothered …hopefully it’ll get taken on soon
Toilets had sign up for cleaning. Last date on it March! We visited in July. Cooked breakfast was cold & tasted like it was leftovers slightly warmed up , “lightly scrambled eggs” were cold & solid. I would not recommend.
Quiet Sunday evening, we were the first customers at around 2000hrs, though some others did arrive. Plenty of room to find a seat you like. The ubiquitous 3 tellys showing football were an unwelcome addition to the bar. Strawberry daiquiri no crushed ice, gin and tonic and a pint of Morretti, £16.40.
Lovely burger. First class meal. Service excellent.
Go! Couldn't fault it. A rare gem if a place. Excellent food,great friendly attentive service without being intrusive. Goo value for money. Cleaned plate. Chef knows how to cook veg properly. Crunchy without being wet. Steak pie is heavenly.
Lovely food and great prices the desserts are fantastic they were so good we ate them before we got photos. Staff are nice and friendly too. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're ever in Kelso.
