We are an award winning independent Bookseller, with a Café & cycle friendly terrace garden, in Thirsk.
Welcoming the Tour De Yorkshire to the County!

Story

We have been awarded Independent Bookseller North 2014. We have a wide choice of books and staff recommendations for you, along with cards & gift wrap for all occasions, as well as prints, toys, maps, diaries, calendars and a miscellany of other gifts. Our café provides a relaxing space for light lunches & snacks, with a lovely outdoor Terrace, in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Table service in our Café, for you to come and enjoy delicious cakes and drinks in our friendly comfortable environment, with FREE WiFi indoors & out!
We also organise a host of book related events every month, such as our Bloomin' Words Cabaret evenings. Join our loyalty card schemes for books and the coffee bar to gain offers and discounts. Please come and visit us soon.

Really Love this book shop. Unlike many I have visited in the past it was all about making you buy the book and only being interested in that. This book shop on the other hand, and the staff supply local knowledge and are happy to assist/ help anyone with anything. They have a wonderful coffee shop which helps when those moments occur to which book to buy when there are so many good ones!

 People don't pressure you to buy books, and are willing to help if necessary. was a great experience! The people are great, the cafe is delicious, the books are all really up to date! All in all? Best. Book. Shop. Ever!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
