Cab driver didn't catch his name was lovely, chatty and friendly. Prices were fair and I'd definitely use them again when visiting Cornwall!
Cab from Tywardreath to Trelisk hospital at short notice 5* service,would recommend.
Despite booking the day before they didn't turn up on time. Called after waiting 20 minutes and they said it would be another 5 minutes. Still no show 10 minutes later. Called again and a different person said there was no booking. Gave up and called a friend instead. This was the first time trying this company. Will never use
Use service from St Austell station to YHA Eden Project bot ways, was on time, friendly drivers and cheaper than A2B.
Ordered the taxi 2 days prior to pick me up in the morning to take me to work. Were not answering calls and we are now 30 minutes late and still nothing. Have had to book with a different company which will make me an hour late for work. As someone who uses taxis frequently I won't be using them again.
Used White River when we needed a taxi to get back to the campsite from Mevagissey and other firms couldn't help. Really helpful on the phone and got us a taxi without any fuss.
We gave them precise times to collect us, and take us to a precise venue, they were very late collecting us. We gave them very precise times to collect us in the evening and to take us home. We waited for over30 minutes and they never arrived. We also could not contact them to ask where they were. We could not contact them by phone. Fortunately, a friend noticed us standing by the side of the road and gave us a lift home. We will not use White River Cars again.
Unreliable, terrible service, my advice - don't use! We were supposed to be picked up from Eden Project after event. They were 40 min late, at 1:30 am! When finally arrived - no apologies. Every time we called the office, the said the driver was there, but of course, he wasn't. The business of taxi is being reliable, on time and good service - white river cars are none of that!
Pre-booked a cab for 23:45 that night. Received a text at that time stating the taxi was outside. no taxi. After calling the company I was told that I wasn't where I said I was. After giving the postcode again to the company the guy said that didn't really help him?! Three other firms other people had called managed to find the place with the postcode. Half hour later and after we walked part of the route the taxi turned up but no apology. The taxi driver was speeding all the way back. He decided that driving 60mph in a 30mph was perfectly acceptable and to avoid the rumble strips, driving on the wrong side of the road was fine too! Will never use this firm again and nor should anyone else. Unsafe!
