Friendly local pub. One of the earliest in Aldershot & still a great place to go. Always lots of fun here especially at Easter, Xmas etc with treasure hunts etc. Great music festival in the summer
Was amazing lots of space, chilled really nice vibe, child and dog friendly. Great prices, super friendly, lovely garden and incredible roasts-cooked so well and portions were huge offering a selection of veg and lamb beef chicken gammon or pork so impressed definitely coming again.
I had a roast and it was amazing, i really enjoyed my visit because its quite an enjoyable place to eat and talk with family.
Been in Aldershot 1 week and we’ve already found the best local. Dave and Rochelle the owners are the loveliest and very welcoming. We won’t go anywhere else now. Very glad we’ve found this pub and the garden & pool table are bonuses! Looking forward to a Sunday down the Red Lion for a roast.
Very dated but will be getting a make over soon from what I have been told.
Lovely pub, lovely people! Brilliant day out even in the pouring rain, the umbrella saved us massively so we had a lovely time even in the storm!! Massively recommend, I'm a bit sad I'm breaking the 69 reviews and making it 70 but just had too! Many thanks, Millie!
Nice friendly place to have a drink
Served by someone wearing contractors clothes. Unfriendly and not sure he actually worked there. Plenty of better alternatives. a The building is old and interesting though
I had a nice surprise: they had a live band playing on Saturday night! Second nice surprise: at the bar had alcohol free cider which I really appreciated, as I don't drink alcohol when I am driving. Thanks for the friendly service! I be back soon again! Good location, parking is available back of the pub entrance from Brigdehton Road, and the beer garden. Nice local pub!
A great pub. Children are made welcome. The food is awesome, Sunday roast with 5 veg, roast and mashed spud and different meat from the local butcher to choose from. Lovely garden and awesome staff
