Ordered goujons and chips for 5 adults and 3 children, 4 portions of each. Could have saved on one portion was that good a quantity! Absolutely excellent value £58 and top quality - freshly prepared and cooked. Parking right outside for collection or can eat in. Card or cash. Highly recommended.
The fish is excellent best fish & chips I've had in a long time. Cod white and flakey, chips not greasy. But expensive, eat in Cod & chips £15 pie & chip 2 diet cokes total £27. After 5pm surcharge of £5 if you share main meal. We eat there about 9pm and we were rushed by staff clearing tables & stacking chairs. We felt uncomfortable this is not a place to relax for chats sit down & dine. Best as takeaway only ..but expensive. Cash only
Staff are polite and food was tasty ordered cod and chips. However, seating was not very pleasant and on top of that there are inflated prices for dining in and you can’t order fish on it’s own for some reason. Jacket potato comes bare which I found strange have to pay extra for cheese. Overall, felt like I was overcharged.
Fish & Chips at @ The White House is the best around our local area. Always get consistently great tasting fresh fish either as Takeaway or Dine-In. Generous portion size. I have been a customer of another local fish and chip shop for many years. I would tell people that they couldn't be beaten. I was wrong, a friend insisted that I try White House, and he was right. Huge portions the other place were getting smaller beautifully cooked to order. They even remembered me after two visits six weeks previously.
Fish cooked in batter or matzo meal. Excellent service. Very popular. Fish always fresh. Chips well done. Been going there to eat in or take out. Never disappointedFood: 5/5

Very disappointed, The fish was awful I did not even eat it, it went straight in the bin.The chips were average at best, its quantity over quality, but whats the point if you cant even eat it. I will never eat there again.
Best fish and chips you will ever eat if you eat it your life will never be the same it's that delicious
The best chippy I know for taste and portion size. Not cheap though, but as fish and chips big enough to share between 2 people still good value for money. Has a sit down restaurant roo, but BAKED BEANS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE TO ORDER ~ CRAZY!
