Had battered sausage and chips for £3. Not everyone's favourite even for me but it came with a decent potion of well-cut large hot chips, and the sausage was average good. For £3 lunchtime special, it's well worth the value and I believe their pricing on fish and others you may find cheaper than some other chippy's

Great, great chipper. Cleanest, most professional chipper I've ever been to. Gorgeous chips, delicious burgers. The owner, a man of quiet pride and dignity, holds court with, I believe, his sons. Highly recommended.
Nice fish and chip shop. Clean and has a nice open space as you wait for your food. The staff are friendly and give service with a smile. Their chips are soft and tasty with a good size, they're not chuncky. The saveloys are really good too. The normal portion with chips and saveloy is a good size to fill you up and their large is very filling. Small cost around £3 without drink 3.50 with and large £4.50 without drink £5 with a drink.

Fantastic fish & chips and the staff & owner are all nice. It's really popular so you can phone an order through first.
The food is nice and not too expensive. The staff are understanding and is usually the same people but they are also nice. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 because it's cash only and the decor is a bit outdated but all round, it's a good place. EDIT 1: Not cash only, card transactions are 50p on top.
I have been coming here for years now and I have never experienced anything but top class food and service. All the items are well made with quality products. Staff are extremely friendly.
