Always a fantastic meal in beautiful surroundings. The employees are helpful and polite. The pub also has a fantastic beer garden, great for the summer.
Visited this pub yesterday. Very nice place. Very friendly staff. Great garden to drink outside in which is also very dog friendly. Now as for the pizzas......man were they good! Very well made and excellently priced. We'd been travelling through the Downs and stopped here on our way home. Would highly recommend all round.
A great little village, it is an amazing pub with great stadd that is very friendly. Food is amazing will definitely recommend the pizza, with live music.
Far too expensive for the drinks. I was charged £5.00 for 1 pint of Staropramen!!! In my local, a pint of Stella Artois is £3.15...that's a £1.85 difference in price? Obviously you are paying for the location and although this is a lovely old, village pub, with beautiful, young and efficient staff, smallish car park, with seating area outside and possibly free WiFi?...I can't see myself coming back here...as I truly believe that they are paying any no more than £55-£60 for a 9 gallon barrel...so you do the maths...almost £4.00 per pint profit. If your budget is better than mine, you will probably love it here, but as a disabled pensioner...it's way too rich for my wallet.
The beer was good and the main courses were OK. A limited choice of desserts., ice cream or cheesecake. We chose cheesecake and it was disgusting. The factory made lightly flavoured shaving foam type. The coffee was weak and tasteless. Service was OK but slow we think because of the kitchen. The servers were fine. The cheesecake we complained about and the pub did not ask us to pay. That bad then. Great building and position but completely spoiled by the mediocre mains and horrible sweet and poor coffee. We will not be returning any time soon.
Great traditional pub with honest beer. It has a wonderful garden with seating as well as a large covered patio. But what makes them think it's still cool to have external space heating?
A lovely pub with plenty of character and charm, and very friendly and helpful staff. It has a covered and heated outside space which works really well. We didn't get to sample the food but they have a pizza oven so looks like it would be really good. Highly recommended.
Nice, standard pub. Food was ok, service good and friendly. Bit pricey, but normal for the area.
We revisited the White Horse in Easebourne on Wednesday after a few years, and even though our lunch was very pleasant unfortunately there was a couple of things we were put out about. The first, was the fact that the chicken burger was unavailable owing to no chicken, which I was going to order. And secondly, when our meal was finished I wanted to end it by having a nice cup of coffee. But alas NO COFFEE, only decaffeinated, which I don't like so alas I had to go without. You would have thought that a nice pub like that would make sure that they had a good supply of both the chicken and the coffee.
We came across this wonderful pub on a non traditional route back from Portsmouth. We had a selection from the menu rather than the pizzas and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly warm and welcoming and the food was excellent. We will go out of our way again to savour the delights on offer here. If you get a chance, pay a visit, you’ll not be disappointed.
