Had a lovely meal here tonight. The mozerrella and pesto fried balls are delicious! We also had the burger and chips and Southern Fried chicken burger and chips. Lovely freshly made onion rings Great service Great evening
We regularly stay at the White horse as we have friends in nearby Haverhill and as this is such a beautiful, welcoming and tranquil place we wouldn't want to stay elsewhere.We recommend the garden room for the 'visitors' you will encounter.

My partner and I Had a lovely meal at the White Horse yesterday. The staff members were really friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. It felt like the chefs put extra effort it and made the food special. Shall definitely return.
The room was lovely the staff were lovely the locals were friendly and the pub itself is very nice with an interesting history. The cocktails were decent as was the guiness. Unfortunately the food wasn't the greatest but on the whole it was a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely stay here again

Lovely staff and decor. However Food was sub standard for a place that has been around so many years. I’ve eaten here some years before and it was great. This time, sadly not. Friend was served something That they didn’t order and quality of the food for us all was just average. For the food price it was expected not to be high end, but sadly even the desserts were dubious. It’s not hard to do pub standard dishes well. Simple good pub grub, should be quite simple to get right. Tonight, it seems the chef was having an off day. Staff were brilliant, and the decor great. Food quality needs to be closely reviewed.
