Excellent service. Friendly staff.. food was good. Chef came over with our food and asked if he should cook me another piece of fish as mine looked like a crocodile, or so he thought. He had even stood it up for me, so it resembled the crocodile!! I declined his offer as it really didn't matter what it looked like as long as it tasted great, which it did.. Only downfall is no hot chocolate, which seems nothing new in weatherspoons...
Great place for good food and atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Good beer nice friendly staff but the Asian doormen standing outside holding the door open then let it shut when we went to walk in was not good , then later standing inside picking their noses while people were eating was absolutely disgusting.
Went for breakfast and things weren't as good as they have been previously. I'm not a 'spoons knocker by any means. They seem to have changed the hash browns which to be honest just aren't very nice, with a strange almost green hue to them. Also this wasn't the hottest meal I've ever had and indeed the bacon was stone cold no exaggeration. Come on Drabbit, you can do better.
Very good food , the pub it's not brilliant , need's an update , i mean it feels like canteen , exept the table bench on the left side .
We sat at the outdoor tables on Friday evening feb 2023, there were 5 of us plus a dog. The pub inside was very busy but there was no one sitting at the tables outside. We had our friendly collie with us and sat outside as we understood that dogs are not allowed indoors. My husband went up to the bar and spoke to the manager as service was refused. He told my husband that wetherspoons do not accept dogs indoors or out. While we understand it is good to stick to policy, we found this excessive with regards to the outdoor area. There were several tables, all empty, so our dog could not possibly have interferec with any customers. We will not be back. We went to Nine Jars, a bar just down the road and found it was dog friendly both indoors and outdoors. The customer service and quality of the drinks there was outstanding. We will definitely return to Nine jars but will avoid wetherspoons.
It's cheap for a reason. Good for meeting up for a few drinks but I've always been dissatisfied with the food. Tight with the portions and generally over cooked!
Visited yesterday afternoon 1-3pm, on a Sunday afternoon. Very cosy, very friendly staff, nice and clean, food was cooked perfectly, good time for food to be delivered to the table, have activities for children colouring paper/crayons All in all perfect experience and I'd say one of the best Weterspoons
Over an hour for a breakfast compared to other weatherspoons normally quite quick, poor service as well
Standard 'spoons..! Floor as sticky as the tables and the staff as friendly as the locals. Good value hot grub, and the Merlot delivered from the hoses is surprisingly good too!!
