We enjoyed the Sunday Roast. We had enough people to try the three variations: lamp, pork and beef, all with perfectly cooked cauliflower, broccoli roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Adnams Ghost Ship, and the house Merlot went perfectly with our main courses; crumble and custard rounded out the meal.

I am from the States. I have been coming here for years. It changed management about three years ago. Now the staff are friendly and  the food is great. Highly recommended.

waited an hour for our food. unfortunately not worth the wait. lamb roast was a big disappointment - lamb was gristle and fat. 
staff were apologetic though and the gin and tonic was delicious.
