I love this place!! Ideal setting overlooking the sea. Excellent food, well cooked and reasonably priced. Genuinely nice staff who obviously enjoy their jobs. I will come back over and over. Check out the colour changing toilets!

My first time in Felixstowe and this place is very nice, comfy seats and a pretty blonde girl with me (I don't think that comes complimentary) made this good company. The sea front is just outside and you get to listen to the waves as you find easy parking just outside. The atmosphere was nice, quiet enough to have a conversation without shouting. Seemed family friendly.

My man doesn't half know how to treat his woman, This is an ideal place opposite the beach. Our beach lol. Today we are sat upstairs, a lovely treat, stunning view, awaiting the delightful smoked mackerel pate and outstanding pork loin steaks. If the way to my heart was through my stomach then I would crown my partner King 😁 Absolutely love it here.

Good and varied pub menu, draft and bottled beers, bottled wines and happy-hour. Upstairs the brasserie is quieter, with table service and Sunday Roast. We eat at the Alex about weekly, when in Felixstowe, never had a disappointing visit during several years of eating there.

Always good coffee amd friendly service. Food is lovely whether you are just stopping for a quick bite (cakes are delicious!) Or eating in the main restaurant upstairs. The view from upstairs is amazing as is the food. Good prices.
