There were 5 of us who wanted a late lunch. Three if us are vegetarians and we found very little choice so we settled for two starters each. The menu for mains was mainly meat or fish. I think there was 1 pasta dish. We love the restaurant and the staff are wonderful. We would like to visit more often but require more choice! Hope you find these comments helpful.

Probably the best hotel in Uttoxeter. Nicely refurbished rooms, comfortable bar and a good attentive breakfast. An easy place to stay in the heart of town.

Comfortable, clean, modern hotel and restaurant. Lovely spacious rooms with extremely comfortable bed and chair. Excellent spotlessly clean bathroom. I also really liked the extra touches like the biscuits and tea bags. We had dinner last night which was absolutely delicious! Portions were huge and it was all perfectly cooked and obviously made from fresh. Breakfast this morning was great. Made with high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. All staff have been very professional and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

lunch with sister dear. she and the Gannon which was nice.. but she did wish she had the liver. I and the fish and chips.. beautiful xxx
