Cheap parking, lovely walks of different distances. Well kept nature reserve. Plenty of benches throughout. Kept clean too. Good way to spend a few relaxing hours. Small play areas for kids. Small shop and cafe that does hot and cold food.

As always​ all facilities were clean and tidy enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the lakes it makes it so lovely to walk on well kept footpaths. Had lunch in the cafe which we thoroughly enjoyed, a little pricey I thought for just a sandwich but very good quality. We visit regular with our doggy and all owners seem responsible at cleaning up after them keeping it neat and tidy.

I like it here. Food choices good. Staff nice. In door and out door play areas are nice too. I haven’t given 5 stars because it Isn’t exceptional but it really is nice.

Perfect place to bring the kids for a run/walk. With various routes to choose depending on the distance you'd like to cover. Bring the wellies and puddle suit as the puddles are sometimes too tempting for the little ones. Routes are pushchair and dog friendly. Great cafe and indoor play area. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Cakes are amazing! Play area does get busy at peak times.

Great place to visit with the kids. Winter time parking is £1 - Summer time parking £2 which I would happily pay as the facilities are well worth that. The outdoor play area is great for older children, they have a water rail which is closed in the winter months but great in the summer. A large sand pit next to the outdoor seating area where you can get drinks and snacks from. Inside has a cafe, which in my opinion is slightly expensive but the food has been nice. If the weather is good you can sit on the veranda with sceinic views over the lake. There is a small indoor play area for children up to a certain hight, it's free but when it gets busy you have to wait and get a ticket. There are some great walks you can go on around the lakes and tons of wildlife. They have regular events and stands on so it's well worth checking before going. Highly recommend. Dog friendly to 👍🐕
