Came here twice this week good car parking, indoor and outdoor play areas, nice cosy decor, TVs showing sport plus kids TV in some seating areas and big outdoor beer garden what is there not to like! Good service aswel considering a couple of staff looked like they didn't know what day it was! Loved the place!Only downside was price of some of the drinks but would definitely recommend tho!
Lovely place. Food was delicious. Buy a big plate break and get a starter or dessert free on Thursdays. Highly recommended.

Me and my friends had a brilliant night out at the Wheatlands. The food was exceptional and the friendly welcome, care and attention from two staff. Sammy and Jack was wonderful. Both of them made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Thanks to them we had a fantastic night. Will definitely be going back
I found a large hair in my jacket potato! As soon as this was reported to staff, it was dealt with instantly and a brand new plate of food was served with an apology. I use this restaurant frequently and really enjoy visiting. The staff are very polite and swift to mitigate any concerns you have with your service.
Great find, lovely manager and staff, really helpful, nothing a problem. Beers and wines really good price. Food is absolutely delicious and you get loads for your money. Will definitely be back.
Food and service etc was excellent as usual - visit at least twice a week as we live 5 minutes away- however, the Manager allowed a lady and her 2 year old Granddaughter to sit in the Over 18 section I queried this as we were accompanied by our, well behaved, 4 year old Grandson who, when with us, enjoys the play area. The reason for her being allowed to sit there was was because 'she had reserved that table'. I asked if I did so in future would I be allowed to sit in the area we preferred? I was given a shrug of the shoulders as a reply! Needless to say it will be some time before we visit again.
Oh this place could really do with a refresh. Unfortunately it is beginning to look shabby. The tables and chairs have seen lots of use. Tables lost their shine and chairs stained. The male toilets smell real bad as you go into the toilet passageway. But the staff are friendly and the food is good for pub grub. The Monday special of kids eat for £1 is definitely a draw for families.
One of our party had the chicken salad, the chicken should have been of higher quality it hadn't been trimmed properly and the salad could have been varied more not just salad leaves and very little dressing. The dessert was ok. Thanks for your reply how to ask me to give 5stars well as I said just make the salad more interesting keep it simple better quality chicken, service is good particularly at the bar, I had gammon steak which was very good you have a convenient establishment plenty of parking and you must be doing things well by the number of covers you were serving the night we were there. Have a good Christmas.
Visit here often and always spot on. Good food at a decent price, kids enjoy it. Shout out to Steve, great service and his staff can learn a lot from him
