I had a very disappointing experience at Westway recently. My friends and I were playing football on Pitch 12, which was free at the time, when a group of people approached us and asked if they could play. We explained that we were already having our own match and wanted to continue playing.nnA few minutes later, they appeared to contact a friend who worked at Westway. This employee then came over and told us we had to leave the pitch because it had supposedly been booked. When we questioned this and asked for an explanation, he responded aggressively and asked us if we “had a problem”, which was completely unprofessional.nnWe then went to reception to check whether the pitch had actually been booked and were told that it wasn’t. This made the whole situation even more frustrating, as it felt like we had been forced off the pitch for no valid reason.nnThe way this was handled was unacceptable. Staff should be professional, respectful, and fair to all customers. Instead, we were treated poorly and left feeling extremely disappointed with the experience. I hope Westway looks into situations like this to ensure they don’t happen again.
This place is good but Stuff members are very unprofessional and unpleasant.nI had to knock at the door of the Tennis Shop to understand if it was open or not while inside the Shop Assistant was focused on his phone...He was not that helpfull at least, I did all by myself avoiding the restringing of course...How can I trust!!nnAfter the bad experience I did the queque at the Reception where two guys where focused on the Computers: 5 minutes waiting, 4 people at the queue and no care.nWhen I asked if someone was available they sayed No without any other explanation, very rude.nNot surprise a big Center like that was empty.nAnyway Adios.
I was at Westway and was bullied and threatened by a worker forcing me off the pitch when it wasn’t booked allowing his friend’s to play and forcing us to leave Westway The worker also laughed and said “do you have a problem” he also said “ there’s nothing you can do because I have a lanyard and work here”. The employee is a young Somalian man and was riding a scooter. I would like Westway to take action about this because this shouldn’t be allowed.
Being the only indoor tennis centre in C.London, they unfortunately neglect cleaning the surface professionally, so most of the time you will find the courts rather dirty. Also beware the car park PCNs - the payment machine is quite often faulty and won’t process your card properly, therefore you’ll get a £60 fine. Got 4 of these in the past 3 months, you can’t appeal as the transaction showed on your phone is sometimes cancelled and you won’t be able to present a proof of payment. Feels like a scam.
Great venue in an amazing location. Football pitches are covered under the A40 flyover providing protection over the weather. Also football games are organised there by Footy Addicts every day.
