Great open space with paths criss crossing each other making an interesting walk and ideal place for your dog. You can make this as short or as long as you want. Perfect for meeting other dogs and feels safe as it's enclosed and safe from the main road. Plenty of parking too...
It’s a lovely park to walk around on the edge of Chippenham in Wiltshire,there are many different routes you can take one of which is walking along the banks of the river Avon,there are wild flowers growing everywhere,in quite a few places it is very overgrown though but then that is better for the wildlife,you have to watch where you walk otherwise you will be stepping in DOGS MESS that some irresponsible dog OWNERS have left behind.its a shame there are so many people out there that just don’t give a dam.there is a bin provided in the car park and a sign mentioning the very subject of dogs mess and rubbish.i would love to dump it all on there doorsteps.
Nice place offering a variety of walking opportunities; Riverside, woodland and, as the name suggests, open space. Interesting wood carvings of British wildlife to be found along the way. Very popular with dog walkers.

Really good place for a walk, free car park, marvellous new sculpture trail, kept the grandchildren running from one to the other to find each first, hopefully wearing them out !
My dogs love it here, such a variety of terrain. Mud free pathways, woodland, river swimming, open land. You can easily pop in to town to treat yourself to a well earned coffee before heading back to the car
I take my dogs walking here every day. The safe environment gives them chance to run and play. I love the open space to walk in the lovely surroundings. Being able to park is a huge bonus.
A free carpark, mysteriously in the middle of nowhere, on an outer bypass. It's owned by Chippenham Borough Lands Trust, and a network of paths radiate from it. The upgraded river cyclepath passes closeby, with two connectioning paths. There is a young new wood with sandy paths next to it; this appears to be a recent thing. Directly across the road, is a path into the Pewsham housing estate, with shops a short distance away. Those shops have their own free carpark though! Paths to Lacock and the canal currently under restoration, also connect here. It's great for driving to, for walking and around somewhere new. Although there's no dedicated bicycle parking, there are some very sturdy fences which do the job.
Love it here, car parking is free but it's a small carpark, however the walks for dogs are great and the area is cared for but natural with some outstanding carvings to grace the walks
Good place to quickly park up and walk the dogs. However as a disabled person needing a trailer to bring mobility scooter car park is not really big enough
