HORRIFIC. DO NOT GO THERE... I ordered kebab and chips. The owner wrapped up chips while I waited for the kebab to be prepared. Another customer turned to me and said 'you don't want cold ones'... I asked if the owner if they were fresh and hot. The owner said yes, they were fresh and hot. I initially accepted this but then decided to open them and check. I was horrified to see they were indeed almost cold. The owner LIED to me. When I said this was not on and could I please have fresh hot chips, I heard the owner say to the staff member who was preparing my kebab ''Give her an old pitta''. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Disgusting.
first of all the woman who was on the phone was incredibly rude! then they was going to charge extra for a salad which came with my kebab meal to be put in a separate box!!!! then i ordered my mom a burger which should have a salad and it did not!! so she had a burger and a bun "tastes like card bored". You really do NOT get your moneys worth with this kebab takeaway! the portion sizes a M kebab meal was just about enough to feed a 5 year old!!!!!! and the food was RUBBISH quality! if you would like a decent kebab takeaway i would suggest going to munchies! or jasper's! which are both Canterbury delivery kebab/pizza/burger takeaways, and are far better quality and worth the money! I WOULDN'T EVEN SUGGEST THIS TAKEAWAY PLACE TO SOMEONE I HATED! I'M NOT THAT CRUEL! I'M FURIOUS THAT I WASTED MY MONEY ON THIS WILL NOT BE RETURNING!
ABANDON HOPE, ALL YE WHO ENTER THIS KEBAB SHOP. This absolutely abysmal "restaurant" is one of the worst places to get Turkish food in town. Only go here if you're absolutely blasted...better yet, just save your cash and go home... Pros: -Literally nothing Cons: -They are scum who will try and short change you if they think they'll get away with it -They NEVER wash their damn hands. The Turkish guy who served me and prepared my food had filthy hands with disgusting grime under his unkempt nails. -They don't use good ingredients -They are more expensive than most of the other shops -They use old and broken equipment -Their grasp of English is absolutely shocking -It's just an absolutely awful place to go. There are better shops literally a minute away *cough* Ocakbasi of Kent *cough* A stain on the Canterbury dining scene and a spit in the face of Turkish and Italian cuisine.
Terrible... DONT GO HERE!!! they were very rude absolutely no customer service. They muttered under their breath utterances "this customers annoying" simply because I asked for mayonnaise in a tub. 80p charge for card and they do not inform you before hand! Ordered a chicken shish kebab it was undercooked very hard and chewy lacked flavour. Worst kebab ever
Ordered from just eat here to find a hair in the food, called up and requested a refund to which the manager called me a liar and that "they don't serve hair". Disgraceful and disgusting behaviour, will definitely not be ordering from this poor excuse of an establishment.
Pay attention when given your change, especially if you've had a few beers. They tried to short change me by £10 and had no shame when I called them out. Get the impression they try to do this a lot and see if they can get away with it. Food was rank as well but my dog seemed to like it.
Dry, undercooked chips and carboard kebab. The doner tasted like it had been left in a tray all day and heated up and the chips tasted pretty much the same. No salad with the kebab, no pitta. This place used to be so much better.
Always a popular choice for kebabs, especially from my student days, and often drop by when returning from the continent. However, most recent visit with friends resulted in us all commenting on the rather mediocre portions.
Tried to overcharge £3. Not the first time this has happened to me or my friend's. IF YOU ARE PLAYING BY CARD, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE AMOUNT THEY HAVE CHARGED YOU BEFORE YOU ENTER YOUR PIN
just ordered 7 chicken shish kebabs from here all arrived with dry overcooked chicken and no salad whatsoever, so just bread and poor quality meat, the chips were dry and lukewarm and obviously cooked for a while, all of the sauce orders were wrong even though I got the guy to repeat my order, we will not be using this place again and would not recommend it at all, 1 star as cant give a minus, give it a miss
