Staff are pleasant enough. However, repairs are ridiculously overpriced and unfair. I took my laptop in for a simple screen repair after paying a £84 'diagnosis fee' (which is non refundable even if you decide to not go through with the repair), and then was quoted almost £500 for the screen. I would avoid this Company at all costs. Day light robbery. Ive never payed £84 with nothing to show for it... I'm surprised they didn't include a storage fee for leaving the laptop...

I accidentally cracked my iPad screen so I went to western computer to fix it. I was told it was going to be free apart from the £39 inspection fee. I went to collect my fixed iPad and was told I had to pay another £300! I could have bought a new iPad for that price, and I lost everything on it because it was factory reset. I am NEVER going to western computer again, never, total rip off. Worst. Deal. Ever. Anyone who wants their screens fixed, go somewhere else, do not go here

I have now used western a few times and have always had a positive customer experience. The sales team are great at answering any questions and always help you choose the best option.

This centre is acutely  understaffed.  I had a 40 minute wait in the shop to book in my iPhone for repair.  It was there for a week.  Communication was very poor.  It's impossible to get anyone to pick up the phone and there's no option to leave a message.  On 2 occasions, I called over 20 times and still was unable to speak to anyone.  At the end of it all, I was told that it was a software problem and they'd reset my phone.  However, the problem wasn't resolved.  A call to Apple Support finally got a positive result.  It seems that software problems can be reintroduced if you restore from a backup.  Basic knowledge that Western Computers didn't have. My advice?  If you have a software problem, go directly to Apple.  If you have a hardware problem, be prepared to wait a long time and accept that communication will be non existent.
