We needed to have some prints framed and walked into the store to enquire. Brian was enthusiastic and was quick to provide opinion about what would look best, however we already had in mind what we wanted and once we were clear with that he was accommodating. 
Once we had decided on mount and frame we discussed price, which seemed to be made up as we went along. Brian used a computer and after the first price was given, which made us gasp slightly, Brian then discounted it on the basis we would buy on the day. We weren't convinced as it was still all very expensive but thenthe prices changed again! It didn't seem there was any point in the computer and it was what Brian was willing to allow on the day. 
We agreed on a price and when we discussed time scake we were initially told "it depends on what timescale we need" but that was followed with 3-4 weeks and we left it at that. 
We called at 3 weeks for an update and a lady said she would put a note to say needed urgently. 
The week went by and we didn't hear anything. Called again at the end of 4 weeks and Brian said it should be ready next week (bringing it to 5 weeks).
 I later told my husband who was really disappointed as we paid so much for these  frames we would hope they would be ready in the timescale agreed. I followed this up with an email to Brian making him aware of our disappointment and we were told they may be ready by saturday and he would call to confirm but not contact was made ( we later found out they had an incorrect phone number for us) but no email either. 
Eventually we were told they could be collected and when I arrived, the frames weren't made as we had agreed and the prints (our own) looked awful with creases. We feel that this should have been brought to our attention during the framing process so we could discuss options before they were completed. We can't remem them looking so creased when we handed them over but no way to say one way or another!
Brian agreed to change the frames as we had originally discussed but the prints would need to be dry mounted at an extra cost of £60! We had already paid so much and now far more than we expected. 
We decided not to do the dry mounting, to which Brian seemed very short and annoyed about and said he would reduce to £50, another number out of nowhere! 
Regardless, Brian came back and said he had sorted the frame and the prints at no extra cost and they were ready the next day. 
Overall, a very mixed experience from westend framing! Nice no extra charge was incurred but equally as a customer spending hundreds of pounds in your store you expect attention to detail and going over an above goes as standard. 
Would we go back in future...probably not.

Brian visited our flat to help in the making of some framing decisions to help display our paintings in a way that would help complement the new decor.  The results exceeded our expectations! His paintings, as an artist, were stunning with quite a few of Cheltenham and area. Looking at Westend's website helped us make the decision that go with them in the first place. Brian's pictures are on view as well as a clever framing visual where you can upload a photo of your picture and put mounts and frame around it. Excellent.

Thank you Brian, my lovely painting now looks stunning. A great deal of thought went into the framing and your expertise shows. It was worth the wait as you were very busy over Christmas.

Having used other framers in the past I have been converted to using Brian's services. I find the whole service to be to be of excellent quality. If you want a quick/cheap frame then go to The Range or IKEA!  He is kind (too kind sometimes). Whenever I have asked him for a 'rush job' he has always obliged and I am very grateful to him for that....he saved me from a recent 'cock-up' on my part - with a dead-line for a painting of mine to be framed for a birthday...he did it in a day! >HURRAY
