Lovely small attraction in a beautiful location.  Interesting collection of art in the two downstairs galleries, and we saw the wildlife photographer of the year exhibition upstairs.  They lost a star for me because the cafe staff seemed upset that we hadn't booked a table (we were a group of 8 who didn't mind whether we sat together or not) despite the fact that nothing on the website or on arrival told us we should book.  Good manners and a smile would have gone a long way!

Friendly and helpful staff. Broad and interesting range of art. Particularly enjoyed chatting with the artist in residence that week.

We went to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. The photos were amazing but the images would have benefited from more space around them. The cafe was good, the service was good but perfunctory. The whole place had a slightly austere aloof feel. A smile costs nothing.

Always enjoy visiting.  Regularly changing exhibitions.  Lovely little garden with a children's play area.  Also runs talks and art workshops and classes.

Great stuff going on but in places a little dark. Cafe looks tired and has basic good food but with few alternative options away from wheat and dairy.
