Fantastic little campsite, perfect and friendly for both dogs and children! This is the second time we’ve been now and got another booking already for September. The man that runs the site, Michael is very friendly, easy to get on with and a good laugh. He always makes us feels welcome and is approachable if you have any concerns. The toilets and showers are clean and tidy for a campsite, compared to some other sites I’ve seen and have also just been refurbished. Lots of open space, with plenty of walks, shops and attractions within a half hour of the site, including Clark’s Village and Greenbank Lido. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, and tranquil get away for a few days, I would definitely recommend this site!
Quirky little caravan & camping site. Amazing welcome from the warden - like meeting a long lost friend. He walked us to our pitch of choice. The site was tidy but lots of the caravans looked in disrepair. There's a lovely walk dog friendly through the large apple orchard. The showers were very poor - hot/cold/fast/slow - every combination you could think of every 10 seconds. I'm sure if the shower was sorted this would be a more popular site. Ok for a one night stop off - but no more for me.

Lovely friendly welcome from Leon, asked for level pitch and got exactly that and in the tree shade for the afternoon. Clean facilities and good showers. Ladies going to be updated very soon. Site was quiet at night and clean, great orchard for dog walking, Electric paid for on leaving was so cheap I was pleasantly surprised. I would stay again and recommend the site to anyone
Love this place , beautiful spot near yeovil and the beautiful ilmminster. Plus great walks . Well managed . Been here a few times and each time been upgrade . Toilet and shower blocks have been beautiful done up since we were last here . The staff a friendly . would definitely recommend it .
Very helpful gentleman greeted us on arrival. We could see they were making improvements in the showers etc. They definitely needed an upgrade.They were grubby water was hot. 18.00 for a meadow pitch electric would be an added charge also no Wi-Fi.
Stayed for one night as a stopover. Manager was friendly and helpful. Nice quiet site and spacious between vans. The big downside is the toilet/shower block. Absolutely freezing, filthy floor area, one tap broken, no hand towels. Really needs major TLC. Also you have to pay for electric separately...no problem for us for one night but not the best arrangement.
We have been to this site many times and would like to say that Mike the manager is so warm and friendly. He made us feel v welcome. We also love the amenities nice and clean shower block, toilets and washing area. The site is v well looked after too and has beautiful views. Thanks Mike for being such a great host. karen and Steve
A reasonable place to camp had 5 days of blazing weather and GDSF so happy as can be !!
My mother is keeping a caravan in storage there but looks like a nice place
