Finally did the previously unthinkable and decided to sell off my medium format kit. Spoke to a few buyers before finding West Yorkshire Cameras and was convinced these were the people I wanted to handle the purchasing of my Bronicas. Everyone there is keen, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and super friendly. The best bit is I didn't even have to go to Leeds as they arranged to collect everything for free. Very fair assessment of the items and then money in the bank. A great outfit - so good in fact I'm thinking of getting back into medium format...
Recently bought one of their item. Very good price and true to product description. The delivery package blew my mind away I love the site and the unique way of communication. Just one of those businesses that you want to get back to just for the sake of uniques, original and exceptional customer service even when you don't really need to buy anything Keep up the good work.
I’ve had two incredible experiences with these guys. The first time my camera that I purchased in London only lasted a single roll of film. I took it to these guys and gave me a camera for free as condolences. Later on, I bought a new camera that was exactly the same as my old one. This one broke, completely my fault, but these guys were kind enough to fix it for me, using parts from my first camera, again free of charge. Highly recommend for good services and interactions.
I first came across WYC when I bought a lens a few months ago. Their service was so friendly and their non-digital ethos so strong that they were my first thought when it came to selling my Pentax screw-mount collection very recently. They have been open, honest and fair throughout the whole transaction and we have just closed the deal with what feels like positivity on both sides. I highly recommend them :-

I have just sold my well loved Hasselblad equipment to West Yorkshire Cameras and it proved to be a really great experience with plenty of good old Yorkshire humour !! Thank you to Mike and Howard whose customer service was second to none , a very fair assessment and price on the equipment and once agreed … very prompt payment. They were highly recommended to me from the film only gang and likewise I now would not choose anyone else for sales, trade ins or advice on anything to do with non digital equipment . The shop itself is a quirky, fun place to visit , run by humorous , knowledgeable Yorkshiremen… go visit these guys … you can’t go wrong for anything film related, they know their stuff!!
If you like film cameras and excellent customer service, this is the place to go! I recently got a Rolleiflex from here and the process of reserving and collecting was as easy as it could have possibly been. The staff in the shop were so welcoming and very knowledgeable, they hosted me and my partner for over an hour! All of our questions were answered and the condition of the camera was exactly as advertised. I can't recommend this place enough! I will certainly be going again. PS: The website is absolutely amazing!

Ordered a new lens online. It came to London in 2 days and had a personalized note and a Yorkshire tea bag in the box -- love that. Oh and the lens looks great too. Would highly recommend
Just bought my dream camera from WYC! It's in fantastic condition and was given a lovely card and free roll of film alongside. They even knew previous owners of the camera which shows they care. Would happily go back anytime
