Would be a lovely place to visit if it was litter picked more often. They take care of the areas where funerals take place but not the surrounding areas. The photos attached are at back corner near the allotments. There's litter in the garden of remembrance, the hedges are full of it. I've tried picking up some myself. Needs addressing in my opinion
A peaceful and well maintained cemetery and crematorium. The staff are compassionate and professional, making a difficult time a little easier. The grounds are tidy, with beautiful gardens offering a serene atmosphere. Some reviews mention occasional delays in services, but overall, it’s a respectful and well run facility. Would recommend for its caring environment.
Becoming very run down. I live locally cant even walk my dog as the grass verges have been destroyed by people parking. I've witnessed council vehicles and members of the public driving across peoples graves the ones on the corners. Something needs to be done about it. Someone even put a wooden stake in to stop people and its been ripped out of the ground by somebody driving into it. If cars can't fit they should be stopped driving around
What the council has done to those headstones is a disgrace and vandalism, If it had been kids doing it, they would of said birch them. They've desecrated local people's loved ones graves. ! It's a cemetery not a kid's park ! And the biggest con is if they take your familys headstone down you must use their stonemason, you can't pick your own to have it repaired at top price ! It stinks of corruption something's just not right. its more unsafe now than ever. My advice is just remember what they've done, and when they want your votes at local elections, think long and hard who you vote for !!
Absolutely disgusting.brother had travelled all the way from work to visit our dad's grave on his anniversary. Was 7 minutes late, the gate was not yet locked however just as about to enter the lady decided to lock the gate he explained he had been caught in traffic etc that he would only need 2 minutes to lay stuff on the grave,but no this horrible ignorant lady proceeded to lock the gate! Could have easily said ok youve got a few minutes but no ,Damn right rude...how people like her can sleep at night is beyond me!!!
