How was your Pint?

We love to hear your views about our pub, our food, our music and especially our ales!

We specialise in real cask ales and craft beers from micro-breweries, ranging from the nationally famous CAMRA award winning ones to the local new starter brewers.

Real Cask Ale is a live product and subject to the vagaries of the barley, hops, malt and yeast, plus the cellar keeping conditions. Our Cellar Manager aims for tip top condition beer to reach you at the bar at all times and a regular rotating choice of fine ales to choose from on 8 pumps.

At the West Riding we always strive to serve you the perfect pint, so if you are not 100% happy with your pint we will gladly exchange it. Please ask for a 'taster' to help you find a beer you like.

Like an home to me been drinking there since the day it opened 26 years ago. Fabulous inside and out. Incredible staff who go out of their way to ensure your time in there is comfortable and enjoyable. Ample beers,lagers and cider to choose from.what more can I say.well worth a visit I can promise you wont be disappointed.

Great bar. Very friendly and helpful staff. Even better they've got one of my favourite beers on tap at the moment Titanic Plum Porter 10/10

Busy pub, lovely and warm. Plenty of room to sit and have lunch. However on this occasion we didn’t eat. We saw dishes being served and they looked great. Easy access to the bar. Toilets were nice and clean which is always a bonus. Staff were very nice and friendly.

Great beer but with new restrictions its slow service. Let's hope we can get back to normal in the near future

Impressive pub adjacent to the railway station, great selection of local beers and nice roast for £8.95 on a Sunday.  Well impressive and can't imagine a better pub in town.
