What a brilliant garage with good customer service skills and friendly staff. The garage solved the issue on my car in a matter of minutes. I have heard very positive reviews about this garage but today I experienced at first hand their expertise and genuineness. I will definitely be coming back to this garage in the future; they did not mess me around and was honest about what was wrong with my car (something that i find a lot of garages lack nowdays)! Highly recommended. And thank you again :)

Took my car in to Kwik fit South Harrow initially to get a quote on broken exhaust. Quoted £299. Then took my car to West Harrow garage where they quoted me £160 for the same repair. They also kept in touch with me via phone letting me know when my car would be ready and communicated well. Friendly service - recommended!

DO NOT ASK TO REPLACE ENGINES/COMPUTER ISSUES (car dropped off sept 17, car picked up Nov 17) I have been using these guys for quite a few years now. I trust their work, and hence the reason I have given them my repeated business. They provide the customer generally with sound knowledge and keep the customer up to date as to the progress of the work being done. Amongst many little jobs they have replaced the clutch on my old 2006 Astra a few years ago which has been working perfectly since. They have a good team of engineers who are always willing to help out and advise where they can. All work will also come with a 1 year warranty as long as you keep hold of the original invoice issued. Recently, my car (2010 BMW 335i convertible 65k on clock) engine block had a hole in it (pretty much blew up) and I asked the garage if they could look at replacing the engine. Whilst they managed to successfully replace the mechanical components, there were significant error signs on the dashboard. The car was sent to BMW who also could not resolve the computer issues, who pretty much fobbed off the car as it had work done to it by non-BMW staff (classic BMW trying to make money wherever they can). It was later found that the auto gearbox also had issues (at this point I gave up on the car and did not want to pour more money into it as a lot of the work done already was trial and error). So in the end I was left with a useless car and thousands of pounds less well off (no warranty as the car had an engine remap which deemed it void). Before doing the work Russel did mention they have done similar work before but had issues, so I guess it was my fault for going down the route of repairing the car - but lesson has been learnt. If a car engine blows up, do not try to repair it, just get a new car! Just warning any other drivers out there not to make the same mistake I made. I guess this was just a task a step too much for the garage. They will usually wash your car for free after a big job, but a negative point on this occasion is they did no such wash for me, the car was filthy. It was also parked on a narrow side street where there is a graze on the car's driver side front bumper (i guess caused by a local resident) - meaning a lower price when I go onto sell to scrap dealers. The costs including VAT involved can be seen below (have invoices from West harrow Garage as proof): - West Harrow Garage Labour = £2,145 - Remanufactured engine = £11,467 - BMW Invoice to fix DSC/DME faults with no resolve = £5,040 - MOT = £45 - Other parts needs = £1,606 - Total cost = £20,302 Having said this, they perform well in all other areas and smaller jobs particularly and I will be visiting them again in the future, and recommend other users to use them as you can trust them (not something which can be said about most other Mechanics who fob you off). Although I loved the car very much - no car is worth going through that much pain and money for!

Best Service and Sales. Very impressive treatment of services and how they treat the cars. Been looking around other dealers, but not even a competition. Very friendly, professional, honest and reliable. I actually bought a second hand car which I like it a lot. Especially they will explain everything until the customer gets comfort. Which sometimes not easy for professionals who generally have much more knowledge compared to the customer. Access wise also easy from train. The response on emails and inquiries are very quick too.
