A nice quiet station during the day which is served by the Northern line. Its a basic station with a waiting room and small ticket hall area with just a few ticket barriers to use. There is only disabled access to platform 1 only. Platform 2 is over the footbridge which only has stairs. The station was clean and tidy.
Although it has a wheelchair accessible entrance, the entrance for southbound trains is not where the main entrance is, and it's only open between specific hours. Not user friendly or compliant with accessibility obligations - why can't they just leave it open? The northbound platform is OK but there are gaps between the train and the platform. Finchley Central is probably the better bet because it has a car park and lifts to the platform.nOtherwise, this is a great little station!
Quiet neighbourhood. When you exit the tube station it is only a short walk to shops and services before the Residential area starts. One needs to go overhead the rail line to join the tube going toward central London. Not quite sure about how disabled passengers manage.
Tiny Station on the Northern Line right in the middle of leafy West Finchley. I don't think it's one of the busiest stations. Very old fashioned 1930s Station. Well kept original wooden waiting rooms, lovely in almost every aspect including toilets. It feels very personal compared to many bigger stations.
Calm station, needs more accessibility for the southbound platform
