The nurses and staff at this hospital are just fantastic . My daughter broke her wrist and we were seen immediately and John the nurse was brilliant with her.. in and out after 2 lots of xrays and sorting her arm in under 2 hours.. Time aside they restored my faith in the NHS .. thankyou guys.
Went to see a doctor as recommended by 111. At a booked slot Cannot believe it. Went there and not a doctor in the building at 18.00 per my appointment. Nurse saw me and misdiagnosed wrongly. And couldn't prescribe any Medication without a doctor in the building. Had to resort to knocking on my neighbours house who is a GP to ask for a favour. His review indicated something entirely different to the nurse. NHS is collapsing. How can it be the case that not a single doctor is in the building. I don't blame the NHS I blame the bloody Tories. They have DESTROYED it. Left empty handed and wasted my time. NHS there's no point seeing patients if you don't have any doctors. That will just lead the patients to rebook and cost more money. Get it right first time % screening right and you will see less follow ups

This hospital is an example of the NHS at its best! I attended a gynaecology appointment today. Staff & consultant we’re all lovely & service was very efficient.
Absolutely disgusting. Went in because of extreme back pain but was turned away as they said as it’s an immediate accident they won’t do anything. There was no one there and I was in so much pain I could barely stand up. So much for the NHS
10/10 for the x ray department. glance at my watch when i walked through the main entrance. From arriving to registering, having x ray and walking out of main door, 17 minutes.
I took my daughter today as she had hurt her ankle. I had to double check that its an NHS hospital. After waiting over 20 mins on hold to the GP, I gave up and called the hospital. They booked us in within an hour. We drove over, found a space and paid a small charge to park. Arrived in a clean hospitality with friendly, helpful staff and got checked in immediately. Within 10 mins we were seen by a clinician and booked in for an X-ray. We even had a follow up call later that evening. The whole experience was brilliant and everyone was so helpful and caring. Thank you Thatcham. We are so grateful for the NHS
Cut my head at work, Monday and went there instead of RBH ,BLOODY AMAZING!!! friendly staff,great nurses and patched up in less than an hour!!! Thanks to all the staff there!
On the request of my GP I went to the West Berks Community Hospital today for an X-Ray. No appointment needed and even though there was a busy waiting area I had my X-Ray within about 15 mins of arriving. That's just so great and an example of just how good some parts of the NHS can be. Well done!
