First time visit and want there as I had heard lots of good things. It was well deserved! They were so accommodating, even though we had a few extra with our party at last minute. The food was all delicious and well presented.
We attended a lovely family and friends daughters 21st birthday party meal. Lovely choice of menu will be back.
Brought the family along for Sunday dinner due to the high ratings. There was only roast beef and roast pork available, and we all chose the mixed plate. The plates came piled high with nice fresh vegetables, with lots of rich gravy, but the slices of meat were rather sparse. I think we will go to a carvery next weekend where we can choose the portions we want and get better value.
Warm welcome, with great selection of beers and food. Visited twice whilst staying locally, beware of the steak and ale pie, they say not for the faint hearted...it was very filling!. still not one to share ; Great place
We walked in and were greeted pleasantly and seated quickly served drinks at the moment we were seated, food was bright out well before we finished our drinks, The food was delightful. All round 5 stars for service and food would 100% recommend
Lovely friendly pub. Owner and staff were lovely and welcoming. The food was excellent ate there two evenings. Very cosy open fire and very dog friendly
We had the most delicious food last Thursday at the Wenvoe Arms and will be returning. Can highly recommend Steak pie Lamb Shank and Lasagne . The staff were very accommodating and freindly.
The food wasn't cooked properly and when I complained there was no semblance of customer service. The manager was patronising and condescending, adamant the meal was satisfactory, no proper apology. Poor service, such a shame as a lovely pub
Very welcoming, steaks melt in your mouth, service was quick aswell as the food. The peppercorn sauce is a nice addition with it. Baggette s warm and had a very nice butter.
Great ales. Food is classic pub grub. In my party of 6 everyone commented that the cauliflower was undercooked. Too hard to eat...
