East Wemyss Caves is situated on the banks of the Firth of Forth in Fife. Some of the caves are accessible but I would advise caution. There is a locally run community group who run tours of the caves sharing the history about them but also conduct their tours safely. Some of the caves still have the original cave carvings. The beach itself is mostly stone and can be tricky underfoot. There is also parking which is close to the caves. There are no public toilets at the caves.

It was a surprise by the size of the caves. The walk is not easy and best not to take wee ones as it is very rocky. I would not go out of my way to go, but if passing its worth a visit.

Doesn't take too long to look around. Can be a bit daunting for some folk. Interesting big caves though if you brave the narrow opening of some (below MacDuff castle) there are lots of old engravings of names. Interesting if passing along FIFE coast just to pop by.

Absolutely a must place to visit,walk it regularly and such an interesting place to visit and peaceful.
