Beautiful place with quite a lot to offer. The canal walk is lovely offering a great walk. You can take your dog or bike alone it. There are lots of little cafe and interesting shops. 2 cafes offer dogs inside but are basic compared to other cafes.
Very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable local people in attendance, with plenty of information at their fingertips, to help you find all sorts of hidden gems across mid Wales. Books, maps, guides and leaflets and online resources available. Convenient parking
Excellent service from the 2 ladies who served me. I went to purchase train tickets, on 27/1/17. The request I had was one the had not been trained for. But they kept on searching through the database, until they could get me the right one. The system did not want to show it easily. They were so helpful, and friendly going above and beyond.
Small tourist info centre. Lady was very polite and welcomed me to take a look around. Ended up buying a magnet. Alot of tacky tourist stuff but sometimes you've gotta love that
They didn't seem to care at all when I called. Answers were so short it was rude and they tried to get me off the phone as quickly as possible, there was no offer of further research and no discernible area knowledge. Definitely not who I would want to promote my town, only giving 1 star because I have to.

Thanks to the two helpful ladies on duty. Got me brilliant deal on train fares that I hadn't been able to access from home. Very patient and willing to put in the time to help.
Always very friendly, polite and helpful. I would never hesitate if I needed travel or local advice.
Very cheerful and helpful ladies who are more than happy to help you out and have a good laugh while doing so
I found the lady there very helpful she gave me lots of information and guidance. I was also surprised to find out they are open 7 days a week. I would recommend Welshpool Tourist information centre to everyone
