One of best Garden Centres visited if little pricey on ornaments. Still bought shrub and Dragon. Christmas grotto area was wonderful. Again pleasant staff
Just love the atmosphere it has a good range of everything you would want in a country store. Sale on air-fryers brilliant! Have a happy New Year 2024 stay safe stay well
This is by far my favourite garden centre. It sells a massive variety of things as well as stuff for the garden & is all quite reasonably priced. There is a lovely cafe, too. I was there for 2 hours today & still didn't get to look at everything, there's so much to see. And the outdoor plant area hasn't even got all the summer bedding plants in yet! Well worth a visit.
Absolutely love it here. It has so many beautiful views and products. With facilities such as a cafe, toilets, clothing range, gardening range, arts and crafts, homeware, books, children’s play area, pets care and adoption centre, local produce and farming supplies. If you’re lucky you can go and they’ll have chickens for sale but this is also at certain times. They’re are many buildings on this site and all of them are beautiful. They also have a local beauty salon. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. I used to come here nearly every weekend with my family. Still absolutely love it!! My favourite time to come here is at Christmas, it’s absolutely beautiful and they make such an effort with all the decorations and facilities around them.
It is very big, there is substantial gardening plants equipment etc., and the usual odds and ends, but also has most other things, e.g., first things through the door are airfryers! Prices are top end, which includes the cafe c.£20 for 2 sandwiches and coffee and the coffee was good and food poor, cheap rubbery grated cheese and bread well on the way to only being fit for toast. Probably won't go back, certainly would eat before I go!!!
I had an incredible experience at Santa's Grotto! The children were absolutely delighted, and Santa himself was brilliant, creating a magical atmosphere. The elves and staff were not only helpful but also made the visit very inclusive for everyone, showcasing a commendable level of disability-friendliness. I highly recommend a visit – it's a festive treat that won't disappoint!
You have the Machinery & Garden/Home centres in different buildings next to each other. Didn't think much of their Sale prices at all. Toilets. Free parking. We much prefer the Charlie's in Shrewsbury...far bigger Home store & the staff are more friendly & welcoming.
As usual, an out of town garden centre very nice however prices a little too expensive for us. Found similar products on Amazon for half the price but the coffee was very good.
Very nice garden centre but quite literally the only one around that doesn't allow dogs. For such a rural place this is surprising...even the Grosvenor Garden Centre in Chester and Hollies nr Knutsford places that seem more understandable to not allow dogs allow dogs! So I've had to stay in the car whilst my family look around the garden centre. Just really irritating. Hopefully this is changed before summer so you're not ultimately responsible for lots of unhappy dogs locked in hot cars like Cheshire Oaks which caused absolute upraw and sparked them changing their rules.
Selected various items during my shop at Welshpool today, Ranging from clothing to pet accessories. Arrived at the check out to find the price on 4 items did not match the price rung up on the till, They all rang up either £10 or £15 dearer than labelled, The assistant then phoned the departments to be told that they will remove the items off the shelf as they had been priced wrong but we could still buy them at the full price. I think they rely on people just agreeing with this policy of blatant price advertising to just pay up. Sorry to anyone in the queue that formed behind me but i preferred to walk away and let them have the fun of putting a full trolley back on the shelf.
