Large pay and display car park with toilets. Reasonable charges, 2 minute walk to local shops and 5 minutes to castle.

This place is ok. The free 30 mins section is great for quick shopping trips, but can get quite busy. The main section has very narrow bays and parking charges start at 2hrs, which is crazy for short visits. There should be an hour or 30 min option. But I guess the machine is so outdated, that it can't  be programmed for that.nnI tried to use the payby phone app, but it failed repeatedly on the payment stage. So I used the machine. It is soooo slow, I actually wondered if it was working, or would print out a ticket!!

Quite a busy carpark. Reasonably priced. Good to see public toilets there which were actually open. Bit of a nightmare getting out of the carpark because of the four-way traffic lights on the main street being a bit too close to the carpark entrance.

Nice views 1.90 for three hours market on sunday 2 minutes walk
