Visited here for an evening meal with family. Was very quiet and not at all busy. The food though was excellent. Rump steak was cooked perfectly and the eggs on top was gold for me. Having not been before I don't know what I was expecting really but I was surprised by the modern look interior which was quite minimalist. There is plenty of room here and it's clean. The staff were great too.
The place was lovely the staff was polite and helpful.there there is only 1 thing wrong there is no notices for people with disabilities where there is a ramp to get in to the building there is very hard to get up the stairs if it wasn't for a taxi driver taking the walker up the stairs my friend had to go up the stairs sideways we won't have been able to get up but we was Breathless and very sore and we was pleased to find out there is ramps but there wasn't any notice to let us know we're the ramps are and there is no big signs of you haven't got very good eye sight and I know my review would have been a lot higher
First visit for lunch decided on chicken wings to start which were delicious freshly made and piping hot .Main course we chose mixed grill from lunch menu again freshly made and good portion size .Service was excellent staff were friendly and attentive.Service: 5/5

The staff are really helpful and friendly. They made a small mistake about items available on the menu but quickly rectified it. Food was hot and tasted well. Never waited long after the order was placed either. All in all it was a good experience.
I'd happily drink here any time, food is very hit and miss and it wouldn't be my first choice to eat here family doesn't mind it but it's a Greene King so you know what you're getting. Bar staff have always been fine, restaurant staff haven't been the most attentive on past visits.
I had visited for lunch with my husband. We tried the salmon fillet with the grilled tiger prawns. It was lovely and cooked to perfection. Thanks to our chef Raf. Also our server Rori was a very lovely lady. She made us feel like family. Thanks for everything. We had a great lunch. Will definitely visit again.
We visited the Wellington Hotel Restaurant with a local friend, and some friends visiting from Edinburgh, last Saturday evening 24/09/22. We were served by a very friendly happy and bubbly waitress by the name of Georgie, who was very attentive and took great care in ensuring that our visit was a very memorable and fun experience for us all. The resturant was very clean, as was our table. The menu very varied which would appeal to all tastes, and the prices were very reasonable. The food which we ordered was delivered to our table in excellent time, and was very good quality, hot, well prepared and presented, which we all agreed was really very good. I can happily recommend the Wellington Hotel Pub & Grill without any hesitation. If all of the staff are as happy and friendly as Georgie you can be guaranteed a fun and memorable experience.
Great food and service. Very dog-friendly. You can bring your dog inside and eat in the bar area. They even have a small menu for dogs
