After the fourth time in a row of this pharmacy getting things wrong I changed to Tesco. Best thing I ever did. No lengthy queues at Tesco No errors at Tesco It seems the staff are fine but their processes were lacking.
Not worthy of a star but It won’t go lower ! Repeat medication always missed even if you call a week in advance to ensure it’ll be ready. Opening times make it a nightmare if you work full time. They won’t stay 1minute after close even if you call and say you’re about to arrive. Met with rude remarks although it’s critical illness medicine which will have severe affects if missed. All this after making you return multiple times for emergency doses. Avoid this place No care given to you or your loved ones….
Healthcare assistant with purple hair was so unbelievably rude today. My grandad cracked jokes, tried to be friendly as always. This woman did not have the decentcy to even LOOK at my grandad. Those hard of hearing,Such as my grandad, obviously struggle even more when they cannot see the persons mouth due to their mask or eye direction. I asked the women if she could look at my grandad to which she cut me off and said she was too busy. I asked her to raise her mask so he can hear her, she said she was TOO BUSY. Surely pharmacys are mainly dealing with the elderly? Is this acceptable? Im disgusted, and i cannot even complain to a manager as their phone line is a busy tone. Fast food workers are BUSY, but 99% of the time they have the decency to LOOK at their customers. Vile.
Used to be great when ir was the Coop but now its just abominable. My monthly repeats are usually ok but ad hoc extras....well they lost 5 consecutive ones over a 6 month period. After toing and froing between them and surgery, they found them in a 'special' basket at back of shop. Lack of staff communication! One took 3 visits to sort out!! You can wait in there for ages and there is always someone who's prescription is lost, wrong, forgotten. Always someone complaining. Always a queue to the door....which opens and closes automatically when someone moves. Lots of the staff seem to have moved on. Hate the place.
I was in the long queue and I watched an older gentleman pointing out an error they had made with his wife's medication. The very young "manager" reacted very aggressively as did several members of staff. At one point there were 3 staff members standing around the old man all shouting at once. I was about to interject but several other customers beat me too it. Everyone makes mistakes from time to time, to react so aggressively when your mistakes are pointed out demonstrates an aptitude not suited to working in a pharmacy.
I usually have to ring them 4 days in a row to get an answer or else the phone cuts off / rings forever. It's very stressful when I'm running out of life saving medication! Seriously needs a queue on the phones I mean common you're a business in the modern age - get a grip.
People need to realise these are busy places and staff sometimes can have an off day. Always found them to be excellent.
I've never had a problem, the staff are friendly and always willing to help. People need to remember that there are hundreds of of other people trying to pick up there prescriptions from year as well.
Would not even give this place 1 star!! What a complete waste of space. Try and find an alternative chemist! Would not buy a packet of plasters from these clowns! What is the point of asking for your prescription 5 days in advance, then to be told “we have run out”! As unable to drive at present had a 3 mile round walk to get a proper chemist to dispense my medication! Will never set foot in the place again. Changed to Tesco now.
