I took the American BBQ course at the grill academy in North London and couldn't be happier. As a BBQ novice I really wish I'd started out with the basics course but this was so much fun and food was amazing. You learn how to to prepare the food with various rubs and learn about cooking time and temperature which really helps. Taking the course, you learn that BBQ is more than just sticking the meat on the grill and turning as you go. There's more of a science behind it. The course itself was well structured and time flew by. But the biggest plus was the instructor, Ruben, who was funny, kind, engaging and downright cool. He made it all fun and enjoyable. Is most recommended.
Eventually got through to someone on the phone who was very helpful. Emails take 5 days to respond to the simplest of queries. Not great service.
