Upon arrival: checked in quick and easy nnStaff: friendly and helpful nnRoom: Room is a bit unclean, needs a but of TLC but bed is comfy, the double is two singles put together but I’m the only one staying so it’s okay for me. No TV like advertised but I’m okay with just my laptop. As far as I know, no breakfast, lunch or dinner at hotel. No lift so keep that in mind if you have heavy bags or are unable to get up stairs. Key card works, but door doesn’t automatically lock when leaving, you need to use your key card to lock it, has a lock on inside. My window doesn’t seem to close, but that might just be me. Kettle with tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided. Hairdryer provided. Decent wifinnBathroom: very small but might be because I have a corner room. Can’t get in and out very well. The shower is a problem. It’s either freezing cold or scolding hot. Small shampoo, body wash and soap provided as well as towels. nnLocation: free parking, next to a Go Local and a take away pizza, burgers etc a bit of noise at night but not loads. Residential area but 6 min drive to shops in Salford Shopping City and 10min drive from Media City. nnHope this helps. Stayed in June 2024
PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS HOTEL!nnIf I could add zero starts I would. This is a chain hotel and not only is the management bad but the hygiene is non existent. Mould, dirt, broken appliances, dangling electrics, flies on bed, thin walls, carpeted corridor smells like urine, towels on the floor behind the makeshift reception and then to top it off we were moved to their other hotel OYO pleasant which is included in this branch of OYO hotels and there was feaces on the bedding from the previous guests so clearly not changed!
Instant spooky vibes as soon as we set foot in the building. We weren't expecting much as we paid such a little price, but it still wasn't even worth that. The bed was clean, but the rest of the room was disgusting. Mould and brown stains in the bathroom, smudges all over the bedroom window. Our room door didn't even lock properly. Tried and tested, it could be opened from the outside even after putting the inside lock on. We told reception about the door, to which the receptionist said he'd be up soon to check it... We never saw the receptionist again. The hotel made us feel so unsafe especially after reading the reviews that we bolted to the local Travelodge after not even an hour of being there.
This is the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel room. Can you imagine the audacity to sell a room to a alone female passenger where the room door lock is broken and anyone can open it from outside? The carpet had sticky black gluey substance so you cannot walk bare foot and the entire room smelled of cigarettes i had to buy an air fresher for the room. The bathroom was clean but no hooks, no carpet and has rust in the cubicle and a big patch of mold. The walls soo dirty and ick. The hotel lobby stinks of must and they put a disgusting smelling incense to suppress the musty smell. I have emailed the team at oyo but they chose to ignore the email. It's been 10 days now. I hope this catches their attention. The hotel desperately needs a refurbishment.
Stayed her about 1 year ago, we booked for 3 nights and were glad to get out of this place after the first night with no refund. The room was nothing like the one described and shown in the pictures. It smelt of animal urine and on leaving we found blood on the pillowcase. The carpets were utterly filthy with what looked like black oil stains. The television and the blinds were broken and unable to close at night. We were on a noisy main road and guests were noisy we were told this is an old pub. Just avoid at all costs. Staff smoking outside not interested. They were lighting incense to disguise the smells.Also there was water gushing out all over the so called car park. AVOID DON''T PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS NIGHTMARE>
