Took my 14 year old regularly maintained van here and was failed on three major defects worth of over £1000 in repairs. I then took it to two independent garages who put the van through rigorous testing on shakers that certainly didn’t happen as I watched through the viewing window and still could not understand why the bushes had been failed, as there was no play in one whatsoever and another had minimal, a minor at an absolute maximum. It’s not about the £25 cost of the failed MOT, it’s that my van was off the road for over a week deemed “unsafe” unnecessarily, while I waited for an appointment for repairs which I didn’t even need. As a tradesman, this took me out of work and therefore lost considerable earnings. My van then passed with a local garage for £45, with only one of the three “major defects” showing up as an advisory. Really disappointing, would not trust this place again.
Nice and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend
Great service, booked online. MOT was carried out by R. A. REEVES who was fast and showed me a common problem on my vehicle and how to stop it becoming a problem. Would highly recommend and will be back in 12 months.
I Managed to get in at short notice. Greeted with a smile on arrival and polite staff manning the front desk. Plenty of parking outside and I think the cheapest price I’ve ever paid for an MOT. Will definitely be using them again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Never even heard of this company until yesterday. So impressed. Pleasant staff very efficient service. And reasonable price. I would definitely use them again.
