Perfect location for theatre. Extremely friendly hosts. Excellent, set you up for the day, breakfast. 4 star as room a little short on space with extra bed in situ- probably not helped by our age/mobility !! Otherwise very comfortable.
Lovely B&B , very close to the Mayflower Theatre 2min walk . Also close to Bedford Place bars and restaurants. Friendly welcome on arrival. Information given about local area . WiFi code given. Good size en suite room . Very clean. Comfy bed. Good quality towels , hand soap and shampoo available. Tea and coffee tray in the room. Lovely preordered cooked breakfast, also help yourself cereals and orange juice. Good parking. We found the area very quiet, no outside noise at all. Excellent value for money. Many thanks for a great one night stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Lovely friendly lady, cooked a lovely breakfast for us, room 8 with en-suite was clean and tidy, plenty of space, tea, coffee, soap and tv, nice and comfy, thank you for having us xRooms: 5/5
Spent two nights and had a lovely time with my family. Easy to find via sat-nav. Owner was very friendly and the room was spacious with enough room for the three of us we had a family room. Would stay here again.
My stay here was for work, i left to go somewhere else...Lady hostess was lovely. Very noisy place to stay got woken up by people congregating outside and bell constantly going off. room very dusty/dirty get rid of the rugs if they can't be maintained no clean towels either! I can't comment on breakfast as I didn't bother staying for it even though I'd paid for it I dread to think the state of the kitchen after seeing how dirty the room was As lovely as the hostess was I think she needs to concentrate on cleaning a bit more and rules for people coming and going all night
Owner was lovely, place was freezing when we checked in but once we got back from dinner it was much warmer, light outside our room didnt working so had to use phone to see to open room door, beds were not very comfortable, breakfast was lovely,Rooms: 3/5
Friendly and relatively cheap. Good full English breakfast. Rooms are clean and basic, with a flat screen TV and a sink, and the loos/showers are communal. However, the big drawback to this B & B is the difficulty of parking at or near Abbey Lodge. There are 4 spaces outside the building but these are permanently filled by White Van men If you park on the street locally, this is metered and chargeable, and strictly policed by the Council.
Fancy sharing a bathroom with strangers? For that price?? Didn't think so. This is a Youth Hostel in a very very run down area. Please avoid this place for your own sake- spend your money elsewhere and actually have a comfortable stay.
