As Mr Shore points out in their newest promo video, each child is well known to all the staff since, almost, day one. They are being well taken care of in terms of their emotional well being and that's crucial to little boys and girls who spend so much time away from home at such a young age. From an educational point of view I could not fault a single thing, the teachers are doing a superb job. My gratitude also goes to the office ladies who are willing to help out no matter what the request is. A perfect, little school.

I am delighted with the education and care that Waverley provides for my children. Class sizes are small, with up to 17 children in each class, and the focus is on the individual development of each child whether they excel or need extra support in each subject. I particularly like the family atmosphere with traditional values of respect, kindness and manners which filter through to the way the children treat each other. All the age groups from year 6 to reception know each other well and enjoy spending time together. I think that is very unusual and is a delight to see. As a working parent, it was very important to me to find a school which provides 8-6 care and holiday clubs on the same site, and Waverley do this very well and extremely flexibly, which makes our lives so much easier. It is an added bonus that the school has a lovely attached nursery taking children from 3 months, so my younger child can be cared for on the same site.

Excellent preschool and prep school that provides first-class stimulating education in a fun, close knit school community. My son joined the preschool at Waverley when he was two and a half. In the pre-prep, there was plenty of space for the children, brilliant teachers who provided the perfect balance between care and developing basic educational skills such as manners, learning to share, phonic sounds, and becoming more independent. I also liked the fact that the nursery teachers were a mixture of younger and older teachers - not just twenty somethings 'who wanted to work with children' but really had little education themselves, which is what I found in other nurseries. My son loved going each day. The toys, range of equipment, activities and messy play meant he was never bored. He is now in reception. This was a seamless change as he had already developed a sound knowledge of letters and numbers and was familiar with the school and the older children. The teachers are excellent and make learning fun whilst challenging the children. I am amazed at how well he has developed in just one term. Waverley School has fantastic facilities as well as ample parking and being next to playing fields. All the children in the school know each other on first name terms. In fact, my son even wants to go to schools at the weekend which is gutting for me but at the same time, gives me a sense of pleasure knowing that I have made the right decision in my school choice!
