I left this school exactly a year ago and i have already progressed so much not being here at Northern house school. From year 7 to year 10 learning was minimal and the teaching was inadequate; the staff were sometimes rude and obnoxious, however some individual members of staff were amazing and i did learn a lot from them its just a shame not all teachers were like that. When the police investigation took place, my education and everybody else's was in a calamity, school didn't re-open until October/November time which was absolutely appalling; and i feel us as pupils were robbed of our education due to the lack of effort from both Wokingham borough council, and Southfield school ( Northern house). As for the alleged 'abuse' (which never took place ), I must say that the restraints qualified teachers who went on courses to be able to use them safely in case of emergency WERE COMPLETELY SAFE AND WERE ONLY USED WHEN NECESSARY. So please Tracie Alder or whatever your name is you irrelevant, malevolent pig listen to my words (to which you're most likely having to have someone read them to you because you're so thick and uneducated) let me inform you that any alleged bruises that appeared on your son's body were 100% from his violent nature and the amount of fights that he got in with both his own reflection (because he's so 'special') and other boys who detested him. overall, Northern House is a good school; it has a lovely team of staff who teach well and care for the students; and it has good facilities for your child.

Mrs. Pass (Headteacher) taught and supported me when I wasn't the best behaved child. She is kind, patient and genuinely caring. She is a credit to the teaching profession. I truly believe that Northern House will only go from strength to strength with Mrs Pass at the helm.

I have had the pleasure of working in a similar school and Ms Pass was the Head. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge of how to help children who need a different learning experience, as well ensuring they get the best from their education. There is a strong and devoted team of educators at Wokingham who will thrieve to do their best for any child who attends this school.

Excellent school for children who need that little bit extra support to thrive and succeed within our education system. Very friendly, enthusiastic and driven headteacher (Mrs Pass).

My son started this school after mainstream schools refused to take him. i have nothing but support and praise for the school as it has brought my son through some differcult times and he has become a fine young man who is now going on to college. The staff have always been helpful and i have never had any problems. He is taking his GCSE's at the moment and i have never been prouder of wot he has achieved with the help of the staff.
