BEWARE, VERY RUDE STAFF !! AWFUL HAIR SALON 
Where do I start with the torrent of abuse received as a regular customer in this hair salon. Some of the hairdressers working in this salon are girls with very little experience. The first hairdresser I had in this salon was Kelly, sort of a hairdresser with a poor rude attitude. I asked for a simple straightening blow-dry and she made a mess of my hair. I need to have my hair done regularly and the location was convenient for me, so I decided to give the salon one more try and asked for another hairdresser. The second hairdresser E. did an average job, but again I had to put up with the usual poor attitude. Often she wouldn’t listen or she would do the opposite of what asked. I tried to be more than understanding but nope, just funny looks of the type you get in a children’s playground. Sounds incredible? In many hair salons nowadays, there is a tendency towards a situation where the customer has to try to please the hairdresser, instead of the hairdresser pleasing the customer. This salon seems to be leading this particular disgraceful trend. When it comes to hairdressers, I only complain if there is a good reason and always in the nicest possible way. In this salon, the staff lack discipline and respect for the customer. The owner allows his staff to do and say whatever they want. We seem to live in a world where many shop owners are more interested in pampering their staff instead of caring about their clients. There was a time when clients were considered important. Sadly it doesn`t seem to be the case nowadays. Because the staff in this salon are just not trained on how to deal nicely with the customers, potential problems can easily escalate. I observed the girls smirking to each other and making mean comments when they believed they could not be seen. At such moments, the shop owner was either absent or did nothing to intervene. The most recent abuse I had to endure went like this ..''Please can I have a bit more conditioner on my hair, I feel my hair is dry '' Answer from the junior teen washing my hair '' NO ! I applied the conditioner already''. Then, as if this wasn`t rude enough, another apprentice cleaning the shelf said '' Ha ha! How awkward is that ''..'' Why is that awkward ?'' I asked. This was met with silence. Later, when I went to the front desk to pay and to confirm my next appointments with the owner (the staff had messed up my previous appointment schedule), I was astonished to hear K. shouting from the other part of the room. This was not the first time K. had made remarks ‘out of turn’ – during my previous visit she would often interfere each time she heard me talking with another member of staff or the shop owner. So at this point, I said to her ''Please do not interfere when I talk with another person''. I was then blasted with rude yelling from K, and I was even more shocked with the attitude of the owner. Instead of telling the girl to shut up, he did nothing. He just whispered a brief “sorry for that’’ before I left, as if he did not want to be heard by his own staff. I did phone the shop owner afterwards but no real apology was offered. If I was the shop owner and one of my employees insulted one of my regular customers, that person would be sacked and replaced. All in all, this was probably the worst consumer experience I have had in many years. 
I told the salon owner I would not be back. My advice to potential customers is not to use this salon under any circumstances - unless of course you don`t mind rude and unprofessional service. If you do decide to use this salon, please don`t say I didn`t warn you!

Highly recommend kelly after all these years!!! just let kelly do a full restyle on my hair and I'm so chuffed with my new hair style! and can't wait to go back to have the highlights done thank you Kelly and all the other members of staff at Wavelength extremely nice and professional!!!

I have been going to wavenlength for several years now. The service is really good with a reasonable price. I have always my hair tinted/ cut by Clive who has years of experience. Highly recommended hairdressers.

I have been going here for several years and would gladly recommend Wavelength to anyone.  Upon arrival someone takes your coat, you are made to feel welcome and offered a cup of coffee.  The hair wash is very relaxing after a hard morning in the office, and the hair cut is always done to a very high standard.  I have my hair cut by Roxy who does a wonderful job, is very kind and makes you feel at home.
