Watford Palace Theatre is the creative hub at the heart of Watford: Producing, Presenting, Participating & Partnering.

Twenty minutes from Euston, the Palace is dedicated to high-quality theatre, and developing audiences, artists and communities through exciting opportunities to experience theatre and participate.

The beautiful 600-seat Edwardian Palace Theatre is a Grade II listed building. Refurbished in 2004, the Theatre offers modern and accessible facilities including its own rehearsal room and wardrobe and scenic workshop. Recently the Theatre opened the new Green Room Bar and continues to develop the quality of experience for the tens of thousands of people visiting the Theatre each year.

I have been here on a number of occasions and have never had a bad time. The productions are varied but always top-notch. Whether it is a pantomime, play, show, delayed broadcast of a London play or special screening of a film, it is always well presented. There are plenty of shows aimed at children and families, so there is something for everyone to see. The staff are friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. The bar odds well stocked with a varied selection of drinks and snacks. The building, itself, is beautiful and considering that it is over 100 years old has all the modem amenities.

We visited again yesterday to watch an excellent performance of “Brighton Rock”. It is West End standard! Highly recommend.

Saw wonderfully acted version of Arthur Millers ‘Broken Glass’. Thought provoking and scarily relevant to today. Well done to Watford.

Lovely little theatre, perfect for a little ones play. My kids enjoyed being there (and so did I😅).

Top quality professionally acted plays in a beautiful theatre. West End quality at a modest price. Car parking nearby and plenty of local restaurants.
