In this day and age of digital books and e-zines, Waterstones is a major relief for an old school book lover like me. The store in Ipswich is really well stocked and seems to have something for everyone. A great collection of contemporary fiction and non fiction on every topic you can think of. I needed some Chinese language learning books and found some not available online. Strongly recommend going there with family.

Great bookshop in the centre of town. Wide range of books in stock covering every subject possible. Helpful and friendly staff. Would be great if you could grab a coffee while there bit all in all a nice place to browse with relaxed atmosphere.

Avoid, especially if you have a disability or have a stroller. The lift to go upstairs is only accessible by 3 steps, which is ridiculous. How a store can be so ignorant to the less abled is beyond my comprehension. Staff is rude and not helpful when asked to an alternative to go upstairs. Ridiculous.
