I love Waterstones but I'm a bit of a bookaholic, so I try to curb my spending and Waterstones can be expensive. You're sure to find the books you want cheaper elsewhere, but it's a lovely shop. The layout is good, the staff are friendly, there are 2 floors and on the second floor, there are 2 chairs where you can sit down and read. I go in there sometimes and just gawk at the Harry Potter collection and the classics collection and then never end up buying anything but they don't seem to have a problem with it. Would definitely recommend!

Waterstones my wife's favourite bookshop. She has brought hundreds of books mostly history books. She would spend hours here looking all over the shop for likely books to buy. Definitely recommend to people of all ages.

Marked down a star as there is no lift to the first floor. However the staff were very helpful and went above and beyond their duty. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They had a great selection of children's books which were on the ground floor.

The only criticism i have is that there is no lift to access the first floor!
